What is Oneonta MOMS – MOMS on a MISSION?
MOMS is an informal and fun support group designed to meet the distinct needs of moms with young children. If you are one of these moms then you have probably felt the need for encouragement, friends, nurturing and practical tips for surviving the early years of mothering! Our goal is to support women in their roles as mothers, wives, and friends in a loving atmosphere. Whether you are expecting your first child, your youngest is in kindergarten, or you fall somewhere in between…Oneonta MOMS is for you!
What do I do with my children?
Bring them along! MOMS is proud to be able to provide nurseries for both infants and 1-year-olds, as well as fun and educational classes for children ages 2-5. They will enjoy stories, crafts, play time, and a snack.
When does Oneonta MOMS meet? 1st & 3rd Wednesdays. Our meetings are from 9AM-11:15AM. (If the Oneonta School District has a two-hour delay or is closed due to weather, MOMS is cancelled)

We have several home group Bible studies for adults. A home group Bible study is a group of 5-12 persons meeting together on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. This is a great way to begin to put “feet” to what you are hearing! Contact Pastor Phil firstname.lastname@example.org.
Care & Support
All of us experience hard times and trials. Stephen Ministry assigns trained Stephen Ministers to assist a person dealing with trouble–with job loss, life transition, bereavement, relationship struggles, discouragement, etc. Stephen Ministers are there to listen, to pray, to accompany others through trial–all with complete confidentiality. We seek to serve. Contact Norm Erickson email@example.com.
A vital function of the church is to create an environment where women can experience personal spiritual growth, fellowship, and ministering opportunities. Women’s Ministries offers Bible studies, prayer groups, planned events, congregational and group fellowships, and caring/outreach ministries. 3Ws (Wonderful Wacky Widows) is a group that seeks to enfold and love women who have lost their best friend.
Our mission:”Challenging men to follow Christ alone; equipping them to serve others.” This ministry gets men together for Bible study, special events, honest fellowship, and accountability relationships. The men want to be servants who are there for others in need.
